My Thoughts on 9/11

This letter is a written testament of my personal journey in regards to how I see and think about 9/11.

I know God put it in my heart to write it. So out of obedience to Him and in a spirit of love, I put pen to paper and wrote the following letter on September 11, 2010, the 9th anniversary of 9/11.

(I originally posted it as a "note" on my facebook wall.)

(Update)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My Thoughts on 9/11
I remember September 11, 2001. It was a beautiful sunny day in California that began like so many others. How quickly things can change. I soon got a phone call from a friend urging me to turn on a television. "What? Why? What's going on?" I asked. She nervously answered, “We're being attacked!"
"We're being attacked!" I will never forget hearing those words.
I saw on TV when the second plane hit the tower. I saw people jumping out of the windows way up high, having to choose between dying by fire, or, dying by jumping out 50+ stories high. I could only imagine the fear and desperation they must have experienced those last moments alive. My heart broke and I began to cry.
9/11 became the Pearl Harbor of my generation! Everything I knew about the world changed in that moment. I was in shock for days. It was a defining moment, no doubt. A moment that divides your life into two parts: "before this" -- and -- "after this".
There was nothing but rubble and debris where the Twin Towers once proudly stood. Then there was the Pentagon and Flight 93 and those words of one man, "My fellow Americans, let's roll” (Later President Bush repeated those words as we went to war). Soon, there followed by the images of the husbands and wives looking for their spouse, children for their parents and families of the dead hoping to find their loved ones alive in the immense rubble. I remember news clips of final conversations and tearful goodbyes.
On September 12, 2001 Patriotism soared like I had never seen before. Red, white, and blue everywhere I looked. American flags all around. T-shirts saying "We will never forget 9-11-01" I admired and (still do) our brave firefighters. What amazing men! The stories of their bravery on that fateful day are forever seared in my brain. The volunteers flying in from all over the United States to help in any way they could. Locally everyone was donating money and blood. Churches filled to the brim as people's faith was shaken to the core. The way Americans united after 9/11 was a testament to the resolve and tenacity of the American Spirit! I was proud of my fellow Americans!
As time went on, families of the victims came forward demanding answers from our government. As did the rescue personnel at Ground Zero. Then, after a long time, came the "official" 9/11 Commission Report. The official report however left many questions unanswered and even created many new ones.
Rumors of 9/11 being an "inside job” started growing by the day. President Bush spoke and seemed to mock what he called "conspiracy theories". Those who disagreed with the "official report" were labeled "extremists". I trusted President Bush. Why would he ever be involved with anything that cost the lives of over 3,000 American lives? What did our government have to gain by this? An excuse for war? They certainly got it, didn't they? But is there more? I mean, they could have gone to war a different route that didn't involve the 9/11 disaster. Like I said, I believed President Bush, but I look back now, and the truth is I WANTED to believe him more than I actually believed him. The desire to want to believe overpowered that little nagging feeling to ask more questions. Ultimately I was not ready, nor caring enough, to ask more questions at that point in my life because I wasn't ready, or willing, to accept the answers those questions might reveal.
The patriot Act was soon passed. Sounds good right? Sounds "patriotic", but is it? As I studied the Patriot Act, I was very uncomfortable with the lost freedoms or potential of lost freedom for our safety. How much “freedom" are we willing to sacrifice in the name of "safety"? Benjamin Franklin is quoted as saying "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Flying became a small nuisance as airports adapted all kinds of new "safety” regulations. Most people, myself included, said, "I don't mind the inconvenience as long as we are kept safe." Because of 9/11 many assumed that whatever regulations were already in place were simply not enough. Is that really accurate though? How many airplanes OTHER THAN 9/11 were being "hijacked"? How many anywhere else in the world? I know I was afraid that 9/11 could be repeated were it not for the additional "safety" measures, BUT, that fear is only justified as long as the "official report" is the whole truth, the only truth.
As time has gone on I have seen more and more measures taken, laws passed, regulations put in place, and privacy-invading cameras installed everywhere for our "safety". We do not always connect the dots and see that all of these new "protections" for our "safety" can only take place at the expense of our freedom. How "free" are we really? It is mind-blowing what freedoms a scared populace will give up in order to feel "safe"! Someone once said, “The welfare of the people in particular has always been the alibi of tyrants." This "for our own good" mentality has now gone into high gear with the Obama administration.
Today marks the 9 year anniversary of 9/11. Where are we now? Are we "safer” and freer than we were pre- 9/11 or are we growing ever closer to a police state? Our government told us that radical Muslim terrorists successfully overcame four out of four flight crews with only box cutters, hijacking the planes that killed over 3,000 lives. (Never mind that SEVERAL of the Hijackers turned up ALIVE after 9/11). That these terrorists were the ONLY ones responsible for 9/11. That we were caught by surprise. That we did not have enough "safety" measures in place to protect the American people. Is all that REALLY the Truth or is it the only so-called "truth" that we are willing to accept? If our government lied to us, what would that mean? How much of what we perceive to be our reality would come crumbling down?
Most “accepted" the official story because they were told the hijackers were all Muslim extremists, far removed from mainstream American culture. (Much easier to blame those extremists far away, than our own leaders amongst us killing their own people). The fanatic beliefs of the hijackers made their success against incredibly overwhelming odds seem more "believable". The official story contains many inconsistencies-- A few inconsistencies may be believable, but hundreds? The official story has, at this point, been challenged by thousands of highly credentialed technical experts and scholars, from engineers and medical doctors to firefighters and attorneys. Yet you will never hear this from mainstream media.
I once blindly accepted that the government had already told us the "truth” and anything outside of that was "Conspiracy theories." Never mind that "Conspiracy theories" come about when what people are being told, doesn’t line up with what they are seeing, with the facts. Then those who dare reveal the truth, or seek truth and then share it are labeled “nut jobs," "wackos," "truthers," and "extremists."
By being a Christian who believes in the U.S. Constitution, the right to bear arms, free speech, closed borders, small govt. / more freedom for the individual, and the Bible, well, in some "liberal" circles, I am considered an "extremist" or a "tea-bagger".
Labels like “conspiracy theory" or "extremist" are purposely done to diminish credibility, to cause division among people. But does labeling negate the fact that it may be True or that the person labeled an "extremist" is revealing Truth? Of course not, but it takes thinking for ourselves to comprehend that.
"Many people who know or at least suspect the truth about 9/11 probably believe that revealing it would be so disturbing to the American psyche, the American form of government, and global stability that it is better to "pretend to believe" the official version. I would suggest, however, that any merit this argument may have had earlier has been overcome by more recent events and realizations. Far more devastating to the American psyche, the American form of government, and the world as a whole will be the continued role of those who brought us 9/11" -David Ray Griffin, Author of 'Christian Faith and the Truth Behind 9/11: A Call to Reflection and Action
As a follower of Jesus Christ, I put my faith in Him and not in this world. I am not the same person I was on 9/11/2001. I have since committed my life fully to Christ and thus, my whole life has changed. In my walk, I have Fasted and Prayed and in doing so, have become more "connected" to the spiritual and see things now more through "spiritual" eyes than through "worldly" eyes. Does that change how I view the whole world in general and 9/11 specifically? ABSOLUTELY!
As a Christian, I have to continuously remind myself to lean on Him and not on my own understanding. Shouldn't this apply to my thoughts on 9/11 as well? Is simply accepting what I have been spoon-fed by a “worldly government" through their "official report" as being the REAL Truth about 9/11 leaning on my own understanding?
Who was really behind 9/11? Was it simply some terrorist attack committed by foreigners that caught our country and government by surprise? Or, could it possibly be a much more sinister event that was actually planned and the ones behind it weren't foreign at all, but our own leaders?
Islam was involved, but they were NOT the only ones, nor the primary ones, just the convenient scapegoats.
The Bible clearly says, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12
Who are the rulers of this Dark Age? Are we living in a world controlled by Satanists? The Bible says we are. Do you believe the Bible?
How does 9/11 play into that? Was 9/11 a Satanic Ritual? Could it possibly be the biggest satanic human sacrifice ever done?
We are living under an occultic atmosphere. There is a satanic agenda being played out. Revelations speaks clearly of this. Many do not see it (or want to see it) because we are living in a time of epidemic Spiritual Blindness and even Spiritual Apathy.
I know many Conservative Patriots, even Christian ones, who while acknowledging that the Obama administration is bad (it no doubt is), see the Bush administration as good. They even dismiss any Truth about 9/11 as nonsense because the government under Bush would NEVER have done that, right? They don't realize that the Pilot has changed not the flight plan. (Spiritual Blindness)
Many are intelligent, educated people, but remember “...the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God." 1 Corinthians 3:19
I wonder if they would be more open to the Truth of 9/11 had it happened under the Obama administration. Even so-called Christians literally "demonize" other Christians for daring to share the Truth about 9/11, calling them "truthers"! Why must we label each other? How is that biblical? How many so-called Christians have actually gotten down on their knees and prayed out to God asking Him to open their hearts to the Truth, for revelation from Him regarding 9/11? What happened that day was a defining moment that forever changed our lives, our country, and the world. Don't you think it is time YOU pray for revelation of Truth about this? "And then ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32 KJV
Remember, it was the 9/11 rescuers and the victim's family members who started the 9/11 Truth Movement! Who better than those who lost the very people they love to not be satisfied with the lies we have all been fed about 9/11? And then to be labeled “wackos" and "crazy” and to say the Truth you are revealing is a "load of crap"? Ignorance abounds! Maybe you would be more demanding of TRUTH had it been your own flesh and blood, you think?
Had in the past, someone shared with me what I just shared here; I may have thought they were a little crazy. However, I have learned to not jump to conclusions anymore. Instead I #1- Pray for discernment and for God to reveal the Truth to me and # 2- Do some research on my own and not just believe whatever I am being told for they may have ulterior motives or be misinformed themselves.
You do not have to believe a word I said here, however your unbelief does not negate the Truth I wrote here. (God and Jesus or Satan does not stop existing just because you don’t believe!)
Many do not see the truth of 9/11 because at the root of it is Satanism and Spiritual deception. There is much spiritual blindness going on! The facts are all there and YET they still CANNOT SEE! ---SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS!
So I ask all of you to please pray! (Time is short) and ask God to open your eyes and give you revelation about this. And please do some research, BUT be prepared to be shocked. Nothing in THIS world is what it seems. Our only HOPE and ETERNAL TRUTH is in Jesus Christ! THIS world is NOT our home, indeed it never has been.
I dedicate this to the 3,056 people who lost their life on 9/11. I especially dedicate this to the courageous people who gave their lives to save that of another (the greatest act of love): The 343 Bravest from The New York City Fire Department, The 60 Finest from The Port Authority, and the New York City Police Forces!
I think perhaps, the best way to honor the beautiful lives of the men, women, and children who lost their lives on 9/11 is to learn the Truth about what REALLY happened! Don't you?
God bless you all and I pray you may have the courage to seek the TRUTH!
A word of warning:
For those of you who think the things of God are foolishness, well in God's Word there is written quite a bit about you: "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV
In other words: A person who isn't spiritual doesn't accept the teachings of God's Spirit. He thinks they're nonsense. He can't understand them because a person must be spiritual to evaluate them. 9/11 was a satanic act done under the veil of darkness. Unless you are seeing the links and videos below with "spiritual" eyes you will be blind to the Truth. You will see it all as nonsense! Others may know that 9/11 was an act of evil but yet not "see" the whole Truth.
Christians can be blinded as well, as I talked about earlier, which is why it is so important to pray for discernment and revelation. Pray before you watch the videos below and visit the sites.
Finally, I thought, and most importantly, I prayed, before I shared any of this. I KNOW how controversial this is, the uncompromising Truth always is though. My faith compels me out of compassion and love for my fellow human beings to share the Truth. "God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather a spirit of power and love..." 2nd Timothy 1:7
If you call me a liar, crazy, imbecile or whatever other names you come up with because of what I wrote, I don't care. And the name calling says A LOT more about YOU than it ever will about me. Calling me names doesn’t change the Truth! Who are you serving when you are spewing hateful words? I am simply a messenger. (Yes, I know, the messenger always gets killed.) But you know what, it is NOT about me. "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." Matt 16:25 KJV
I realize I may lose facebook friends over this, that's ok, go ahead and delete me (the Truth, remember, cannot be "deleted"). I am not planning on telling My Creator when I meet Him in Heaven, "Well I wanted to shine a light to the darkness God, but I didn't want to lose friends over it."
Jesus Christ promised "If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you" -John 15:18 KJV
Deliver Us from Evil
The lunatic says: "I want what you have and if I can't have it, I'll destroy it."
Jesus says: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10
"A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell." -C.S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain
Deliver Us from Evil
By Robin of Berkeley
(June 23, 2010)
It's funny how trivial events somehow get seared into your brain. This one is from years ago, when I was enjoying a yogurt on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley.
Suddenly, a large exotic bug appeared and started dancing around. Its iridescent colors caught the sun and glistened like a rainbow. A crowd formed to watch its antics in shared delight.
Out of nowhere, a lunatic pushed through the crowd. I'd seen this guy before -- paranoid, menacing. His rage toward the bug slit me like a knife. The insect was getting attention, people were happy, and he was out for revenge.
The man bolted through the crowd, possessed. He jumped on the bug, over and over and again. People gasped. A child cried. And then, as quickly as it began, it was all over.
Silently, numbly, the crowd dispersed. The man, now triumphant, smiled hideously. I threw away the yogurt, which was now rendered tasteless.
I'll never forget the look of blind hatred on that man's face. It communicated this: "I want what you have."
And: "If I can't have it, I'll destroy it."
This random experience flashed in my mind recently when I was in a Berkeley bookstore. With my newfound interest in religion, I wanted to peruse that section.
After hunting down a clerk to unearth the tiny religion area, I perused the shelves. In actuality, the area should have been called the Anti-Christianity Section.
While there were respectful tomes on the other religions, the Christianity section was a virtual pillorying of Jesus.
Every book denounced him, mocked him, or reinvented him as something entirely new. There were books debunking the Gospel, with each author sounding gleeful, like a wicked child.
Now, I understand that some people reject religion. But why the venom? The contempt, the need to torpedo Christ?
This campaign against Christianity isn't confined to an obscure Berkeley bookstore. And it didn't begin with Obama. There's been an active crusade for decades to try to destroy Jesus with Alinksy-like tactics: freeze the subject, humiliate, marginalize.
But while demonizing Christianity is nothing new, it's reached a fever pitch since Obama came on the scene. It's no wonder: Obama sent out clear messages from the start.
Obama's first interview as president was for an Arab broadcaster. Then he covered up a cross at Notre Dame and was a no-show on the National Day of Prayer.
Lately, it seems like open season on Christians. The Pope has been subjected to unprecedented condemnation, with atheists Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens plotting ways to have him arrested.
Comedy Central plans a cartoon show mocking Jesus. On the TV show Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry David does something so offensive that I will only offer you a link.
In the past I would simply put on my therapist cap with people like these. I'd probe their childhood for evidence of maltreatment. I'd label them as narcissists and antisocial personalities.
But now I have a different worldview, one that goes much deeper than just the psychological. Now I understand that this world is infused with the Divine. And that there is a competing force, one that is the polar opposite.
I now have a word for that creepy feeling deep down in my gut. And I finally understand the source.
Now I see what's really behind the campaign to banish religion; it's to render us utterly helpless. Because after all, without God, what protection is there in this brutal world?
Sadly, grievously, I look out on my country. I see the corruption and undoing. I witness the ever-growing tsunami of hate that threatens everyone in its path.
And I see citizens oblivious to the dangers because they're mired in the slime of moral relativism. They have no language, no hiding place, no possible way to shield their children in the deep and darkest nights.
And I see that lunatic, the one with the crazy, hollow eyes. But he's not just on Telegraph Avenue.
He's far and wide: in the hallowed halls of Congress, in the institutes of higher learning, in basement rooms where small men troll.
If you listen closely, you can hear that same diabolical cry: "I want what you have.
And if I can't have it, I'll destroy it."
" The lunatic is on the grass.
The lunatic is on the grass.
Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs.
Got to keep the loonies on the path.
The lunatic is in the hall.
The lunatics are in my hall.
The paper holds their folded faces to the floor
And every day the paper boy brings more.
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon."
(from "Brain Damage" by Pink Floyd)
What does God say about racism?
A very powerful article on the evil of Racism.
What does God say about racism?
By: Bill Keller
What does God say about racism? Like in all matters of life, when we need the Truth, the real answers, we have to go to our final authority in all matters, the Bible. One of the greatest weapons of Satan is division. The enemy has figured out every way imaginable to divide men. Since virtually the beginning of the human experience, man has fallen into Satan's trap of division based on the color of a person's skin or their ethnic origin. While racism has always been an issue in this country, the fact is it is an issue in every country. This divisive mindset is not unique to the United States. Sadly, in some form it is practiced everywhere on the planet.
Since the racially incendiary remarks by President Barack Hussein Obama's pastor of 20 years, Dr. Jeremiah Wright became such a big part of the Presidential campaign, it sparked a national dialogue on race. During the campaign, President Obama gave a speech on race that was lauded by many. Those who made such a big deal over his speech were most likely swayed by the fact he was dealing so openly with a taboo subject few will talk about. However, his speech was hollow, self serving, and nothing more than a political move to do damage control because of his close association with Dr. Wright.
President Obama's race speech did NOTHING to help people or this nation deal with this scourge, since the victory over racism isn't going to come from the flowery words of a politician whose only motive and goal is to get elected President. No my friend, if people and this nation are going to truly get victory over racism, it has got to come from an understanding of what God says about this issue and by people who are willing to follow what God says in the Bible.
If President Obama had intended to really take a leadership role on the race issue, educate the nation and provide real answers for how to get victory over this inhumane way people treat others who are different than they are, then he would have told people what God says about racism. God says MUCH about this issue, but President Obama didn't find it worth including even one verse of Scripture.
*THIS IS WHY I TELL YOU SO OFTEN THAT IT WILL NOT BE A POLITICIAN, BUT A MAN GOD HAS CALLED TO LEAD PEOPLE IN THE WAYS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS!!!
The fact is, there is only one race, the human race! People may have white skin, black skin, brown skin, yellow skin, red skin, or any other color skin, they may have different ethnic backgrounds, but they are all part of the same race, the human race! The Bible says that ALL MEN are created in the image of God. God created all men equal. I tell you frequently that Satan is the great perverter. It is Satan, not God, who seeks to divide men by their skin color, ethnicity, financial means, and any other way you can dream up to divide people. God created men equal to live in harmony with one another. It is Satan who introduced division into the human experience.
In God's plan of redemption, there is no division. John 3:16 says that God so loved the world, ALL men. It says that WHOSOEVER BELIEVES. That is a universal call to ALL MEN regardless the color of their skin or where they live. In 1 John 2:2, it talks about how Jesus laid down his life for EVERYONE. Everyone means ALL MEN, the entire human race. This satanically inspired way we have of dividing ourselves through racism, prejudice, and discrimination all make a mockery of what Christ did on the cross. He faithfully and obediently went to that cross to die for the sins of ALL MANKIND.
That is why all of the black pastors I know repudiate the false black liberation theology Dr. Jeremiah Wright has been teaching for over 3 decades. Wright is actually a student of James Cone who made this perverse theology popular in the 60s that teaches the Bible is the basis for blacks to be liberated from social, political, economic, and religious bondage. President Obama is a liar when he states he never heard the types of comments made by Dr. Wright the media has been playing, since that is the foundational teaching of the black liberation theology Wright has been preaching in Chicago for over 30 years.
The fact is the Bible DOES teach liberation theology, LIBERATION FROM SIN!!! It was not written to people with dark skin, but to all people regardless of their skin color. We are all part of the human race, which means we are all born with the sin of Adam, we all sin during our life, and that is why Jesus went to the cross. He gave His very life on that cross as the payment for the sins of all mankind, that through faith in Him men might be find freedom from their sins. There is nothing in the Bible to support this false black liberation theology Dr. Wright preaches, since the liberation theology of the Bible is about the freedom from sin for ALL MEN!
You also have the Biblical example of Jesus during His earthly ministry. Again, racism is not a new phenomena to the United States in our brief 232 year history. Forms of racism have been part of the human expedience since the very beginning. Jesus commanded us in John 13:34 to love each other as He loves us. He used people of other ethnic backgrounds often in His parables. One of the most powerful is the story of the Good Samaritan. If you remember, the Jewish religious leaders passed by the man who had been robbed and beaten and laying on the side of the road, leaving him to die. It was the Samaritan, the non-Jew, who honored God by stopping and ministering to the needs of the injured man. Don't forget, it was Jesus who told his followers to make disciples of EVERY NATION, reaffirming the value of all men.
I love you and care about you so much. If President Obama had wanted to give a real speech on racism to move hearts and lead people in this issue, THIS is the message he should have delivered. It would have been a message from God's Word that laid the Biblical foundation all men are created equal and those who seek to divide men by the color of their skin are not of God, but of Satan! It would not have been the self serving, politically crafted words to try and help him weasel out of his 20 year association with a pastor and church that preaches and teaches division based on the color of a person's skin. Dividing men by skin color, ethnicity, are the works of the devil.
Those who truly seek to serve and follow the Lord are not looking to divide men but unite them. A true follower of Christ understands that God created all men equal, that we are all part of the human race. Racism, prejudice, and discrimination are NOT of God, since we are hurting someone God created and loves and Jesus died for! Sadly, 11 am on Sunday morning is the most segregated hour of the week in this nation. That is truly a shame since the one sanctuary from racism should be the church. Yet sadly, most churches don't lead the culture, they allow the culture to lead them. So rather than modeling what God says about this issue, in far too many churches, they perpetuate this ungodly attitude men have for other men who look different than them.
They better wake up since when we die, and stand at the gates of Heaven, there won't be a line for whites, or a line for blacks, or a line for Asians, or a line for Hispanics, or a line for those from the Middle East, just like there won't be a line for Catholics, or Baptists, or Methodists, or Pentecostals. No my friend, when you take your last breath there will only be two lines. One for those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ and one for those who have rejected Christ. The Bible proclaims those who reject Christ will be cast into the flames of hell for all eternity, and those who know Jesus will be welcomed into their eternal home with God their Creator in Heaven. At that moment, Galatians 3:38 will be realized, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus!"
In His love and service, Your friend and brother in Christ, Bill Keller
